Cassie Scerbo
Cassie Scerbo, an American actor and singer, initially gained attention when she joined the all-girl band 'Slumber Party Girls', which served as the host of the CBS children's program Dance Revolution in the middle 2000s. In the following years, she was a household name as a character in the telefilm Bring It On. In addition, she appeared in The ABC Family show Make It or Break It and in the ABC Family drama In It To Make It or Break It. The most memorable role she played was Nova Clarke who appeared in all six Sharknado films. Scerbo has given a significant amount of energy and time to the environment and social causes that include awareness of sexually transmitted diseases and human trafficking. She also works with Africa Water Project, among various other causes. Also, she is known to make frequent visits to the hospitals that treat children in Los Angeles. Scerbo is an alumni of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School located in Parkland, Florida, where an accused teenager Nikolas Cruz shot dead 17 students and teachers in 2018, making it the most deadly school shooting in American past, far surpassing the Columbine massacre of 1999.
